The Buckie Pottery Company is a friendly mobile pottery based near Buckie overlooking the Moray Firth. We offer mobile workshops at venues throughout Aberdeenshire, Morayshire and The Highlands. Book us to come to your chosen venue or catch one of our popular workshops. So whether its pottery painting or clay modelling, whatever your age or ability, we have an activity to suit you.
Choose us for your birthday party, group get together, team building day or hen do. Invite us to your School, Care Home or Community Organisation. We will work with you and do our best to meet your requirements.
The Buckie Pottery Company is a family run business with a strong community ethos. Tanya attended Art College in Wrexham, spent many years working in computing and latterly in the Voluntary Sector, before returning to pottery, manufacturing decorative ware under her own brand T-KU Ceramika.
Make your own piece of clay art as part of one of our regular workshops, or book us to attend your events, we aim to cater for all ages and abilities.
The Buckie Pottery Company offers Pottery taster sessions which are available for those wishing to try their hand at making their own masterpiece. Once you have made your piece of clay art, you will need to leave it with us to dry, we will then fire it and then let you know when it’s ready. This usually takes about three weeks.
For those who don’t want to get their hands quite so muddy, Pottery painting is also available, choose a piece of pre made bisque from our wide range, then paint with underglaze colours, leave it with us and we will fire it and let you know when its ready (usually 7 to 10 days) if you are a visitor to the area, we can post your artwork to you. (There is a small additional charge for this).
